On April 23, 2018, RUEF Executive Board held a presentation at one of the schools of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The topic of the presentation was "What we need exhibitions for".
The objective of the event was to tell the children about the exhibitions and their benefits for business development, and about the people making exhibitions. Presentation was preceded by a brief conversation with the pupils, revealing what they already know about the exhibitions. The material was lavishly illustrated, that made it exciting and captivating for the young audience. After the presentation, the children were offered a crossword puzzle about exhibitions. They were a success in solving it! The pupils learned about the professional holiday of the exhibition industry - the Global Exhibitions Day - and made a photo with the GED18 logo.
We invite all exhibition industry professionals to follow RUEF's example and attract the younger generation to the industry, starting with schoolchildren. You can hold presentations, organize excursions to exhibitions, introduce schoolchildren and students to the backstage of exhibitions and tell them about your personal experience. After all, it may happen that your personal example will motivate the young audience to choose their future career in the exhibition industry.
